- 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
- ¾ cup (150g) brown sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ¾ cup (90g) all-purpose flour
- ½ cup (40g) unsweetened cocoa powder
- ½ tsp salt
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line an 8×8-inch pan.
- Melt butter and chocolate together; let cool slightly.
- Whisk in sugars, then eggs (one at a time), and vanilla.
- Sift in flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Stir just until combined.

- ½ tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 ½ cups (260g) chocolate chips or chunks
Instructions:
- Mix melted butter with sugars until smooth. Add eggs and vanilla.
- Stir in flour, baking soda, and salt. Fold in chocolate chips.
- Chill dough for 30 minutes.
- Scoop onto baking sheet and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 10–12 minutes.
- Let cool slightly for soft, chewy perfection.
